Handsome Ryan and I went on an amazing 4-wheel ride through the rain, up the bear and cougar trail and over to the Texans. To try to stay dry we hid under one of the cabins with Blackie and watched the beautiful rain storm. I love, love, love to go on 4-wheel rides with Ryan, he is such a good driver and knows the mountain perfectly.

Father and Sons

Dad, Jesse, Ryan, Dustin, and Trevy in Jesse's Hot Jeep. They were on their way to pick up Kenny for a fun night together to celebrate Father and Sons.

Blackie

Blackie is a big part of our family especially when we go up to the cabin. Through the years he has been Ryan's dog but we all love him too. He just got a hair cut and is showing off his new style. In the winter time Blackie loves to get on top of his dog house when it is snowing so he can stick out his tongue and feel the snow better as he actually is an Alaskan sled dog and loves the cold.

Look at this Beautiful Chest that my Jesse made. It is absolutely perfect in every way and will match our down-stairs as it is a cabin room. Jesse you never cease to amaze me and your many talents. Jesse also made me alot of pottery that is just priceless. I Love You Jesse with all My Heart.

Our Beautiful Gingerbread Cottage

Spring is in the air with our great big beautiful lilac bush, male crab apple trees, green lush grass and our gorgeous maple tree. I just love our "sweet" home that my Sweetheart designed and built. We still have many plans to complete with our latest edition being our deck off of the music parlor. My favorite thing to do is to swing on our great big swing and look up at the majestic mountain that is green now. I thank my Sweetheart with all my heart for working sooo hard each and every day to make a dream come true.

My favorite song is "My Heavenly Father Loves Me." This song helps me remember my many blessings, the promise of Spring, our Beautiful Cottage, and the blessing of my eyes and having my sight. After 12 surgeries on my eyes I was soo blessed to be given my sight as I was suppose to be blind in my right eye. My vision isn't perfect but I can see and I know that someday I will see perfectly.

My Heavenly Father Loves Me

Whenever I hear the song of a bird or look at the blue, blue sky, whenever I feel the rain on my face or the wind as it rushes by, whenever I touch a velvet rose or walk by our lilac tree, I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world Heavenly Father created for me.

He gave me my eyes that I might see the color of butterfly wings, He gave me my ears that I might hear the magical sound of things, He gave me my life, my mind, my heart: I thank Him reverently. For all His creations, of which I'm a part. Yes, I know Heavenly Father loves me.

Saturday May 30th I rescued a little bird that had fallen into our deep window sill. The poor little thing couldn't get out as our big thorn bush was covering the opening. I took a shovel, talked to the little bird and gently lifted it up onto the ground. It took 2 tries as the little bird was very scared from spending half of the day trapped. All the other birds were going crazy all around Kenny and I as they were afraid for their little friend. I really believe that the "sweet" little bird understood me and knew that I wanted to help it and wouldn't hurt it. I Love the Song of a Bird.
